The K-50 is a 275 hp thermal fogger. This type of machine can build a great deal of heat. During operation, the unit is cooled by fresh air being sucked into the combustion chamber over the barrel.

When the machine is turned off, the active cooling stops. To prevent damage to internal parts and components, it is VERY IMPORTANT to elevate the barrel and open the rear resonator lid before or immediately after shutting the unit off.

The open lid allows for air to enter the area and the raised barrel creates a chimney effect, helping to cool the unit.

The unit should remain elevated and open until completely cooled.
